25 Jul 2013 Season 1 = 2 > 3 > 4. Only the first 2 seasons were great. It was based around the whole idea of actually breaking out of a prison and staying away from it.

Overall, season 2 of Prison Break is well worth a watch. Its not the groundbreaking, breathtaking spectacle the first season is, but there’s still some good material here. The plot works well for the most part, despite the latter periods of the season losing focus on the tense outcome of the fugitives and focusing too much on the conspiracy behind Lincoln’s arrest.

I would say that this is my single favorite season of Prison Break. Season 1 is also great, but I think Season 2 is even better, as we get to see Michael's post-prison plans materialize. This season, employing Bill Kim and The General as major protagonists, does a lot to flesh out the whole conspiracy plot involving The Company.
